FIELD: manufacture of vibroabsorbing materials for operation at 28 to 42 C. SUBSTANCE: method involves water-emulsion copolymerization of vinyl acetate with butyl acrylate. 1.35 mass percent of the sum of emulsifier monomers is used as surface-active material, its composition being as follows: CnH2n+1C6H4O(C2H4O)mSO5Na, where n = 8-10, m = 10-12. Initiating agent is introduced in six steps and in equal portions at time intervals of 36 min. Entire mixture of monomers used in synthesis is introduced into reaction zone at constant rate of 33.3-40% of total charge per hour; mixture contains 65.3-71.1 mol percent of vinyl acetate and 34.7-28.9 mol percent of butyl acrylate.
