FIELD: microwave equipment. SUBSTANCE: microwave resonator uses acoustic line 1 made of nonmagnetic dielectric 5, tunable magnetic system, acoustical body wave transducer made in the form of a layer of piezoelectric material 2, whose working surfaces carry electrodes 3, and monocrystal ferrite film 4. In the offered resonator respective electrode 3 generates and detects at the same time both acoustic and magnetostatic vibrations. Superposition of vibrations of these two types forms a high-quality stable resonance at one of the acoustic harmonics. With variation of magnetic field, this resonance machine gets retuned, since the spectrum of magnetostatic waves is retuned. With variation of the gap between electrodes 3 and ferrite film 4, magnetostatic component coupling gets optimized and resonance selectivity increases. Filling of the above gap with nonmagnetic dielectric 5 increases the effectiveness of optimization. EFFECT: widened working frequency control range, as well as enhanced selectivity. 2 cl, 4 dwg
