PROCESS OF DOSIMETRY OF GAMMA RADIATION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract SU 1699267 A1

FIELD: dosimetry of ionizing radiations. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dosimetry of gamma radiation by method of electron paramagnetic resonance. Dihydrate of barium ditionate is used in process. It is subjected to gamma radiation. Integral intensity of signals of paramagnetic centers formed in dihydrate of barium ditionate by method of electron paramagnetic resonance is measured. Irradiated dihydrate of barium ditionate is used during process as source of signals of paramagnetic centers for which integral intensity of signal of electron paramagnetic resonance exceeds 10 times integral intensity of signal irradiated by same dose from 10-1 to 5•104 Gy. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity of process, expanded range of measured doses, increased stability of measurements. 2 dwg
