FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for manufacture of wire, cable, winding and coil. The essence of the invention is that a high-temperature superconducting strip conductor with a flexible metal substrate contains at least one intermediate layer which is applied on a flexible metal substrate and which on the side opposite to a flexible metal substrate, contains terraces, and the average width of terraces is less than 1 micron, and the average height of terraces is greater than 20 nanometres and which contains at least one high-temperature superconducting layer located on the intermediate layer which is applied on at least one intermediate layer and has the thickness above 3 microns, and the allowable current load of the high-temperature superconducting strip conductor divided by the wire width at 77 K exceeds 600 A/cm.
EFFECT: possibility of creation of the HTSC-wire with large maximum allowable current load.
