FIELD: solid-state pulsed lasers. SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves engagement of useful loss of cavity by applying control voltage pulse to electrodes of optoelectric element, pulse leading edge length being sufficient to ensure coincidence of moments of appearance of monopulse and achievement of cavity useful loss factor optimal in respect to monopulse output energy within leading edge. EFFECT: provision for generating high-power energy- and length-stabilized radiation pulses of high repetition rate. 2 dwg
