FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cylinder groups are connected and disconnected in turn. When first group of cylinders is connected to supply, cylinders are first connected to intake duct, and then to exhaust duct. Depending on air temperature before cylinders, cyclic connection and disconnection of cylinders and intake duct is performed twice per working cycle.
