FIELD: petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: preliminary calcined under temperature of 950 - 110 C aluminum oxide with pores diameter of 35 - 70 mcm35-70 m2 and heated in regenerator is subjected to treatment with water steam and/or hydrocarbon gas under temperature of 720 - 770 C for 2 - 60 s. Treated adsorbing agent is contacting with petroleum residual raw materials under increased temperature in presence of water steam, hydrocarbon gas and hydrogen sulfide producing refined petroleum product and waste adsorbing agent. Refined petroleum product is separated from waste adsorbing agent. Then desorption of adsorbed hydrocarbons from surface of waste adsorbing agent is exercised under temperature of 560 - 650 C. Waste adsorbing agent is subjected to oxidizing regeneration. Heated regenerated adsorbing agent is recirculated in the process. EFFECT: increased output of refined petroleum product and decreased sulfur oxides share in carrying off regeneration gas. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
