FIELD: storage technology. SUBSTANCE: object 10 to be placed in storage is laid in container 1. Pressed members whose porosity ranges from 35 to 45 percent made of titanium particles not exceeding 20 mk are placed in chamber 2 which is in communication with container. Vacuum of 0.133 to 13.3 Pa is created in chamber 2. Absorber is subjected to activation at temperature of 370 to 400 C for 1-2 hours. Storage conditions: at temperature of storage of object not higher than 50 C, temperature of absorber is maintained equal to activation temperature; at temperature of storage of object higher than 50 C, temperature of absorber is equal to Tabs= Tobj + Tact, where Tabs is temperature of absorber; Tobj is temperature of storage of object and Tact is activation temperature. EFFECT: reliable and protracted storage due to enhanced efficiency of protective properties of medium and its longevity. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
