FIELD: chemistry, particularly, production of titanium dioxide for catalysts. SUBSTANCE: essence of this method resides in reacting titanium tetrachloride in natural gas flame at temperature of 300 to 350 C and abgas-regulated gas flow rate of 4 to 5 m/s, depositing reaction products at temperature of 400 to 450 C and gas flow rate of 0.1 to 0.2 m/s, redepositing reaction products at 150 to 200 C and gas flow rate of 0.01 to 0.02 m/s, and then combining and drying resultant product at temperature of 500 to 550 C. EFFECT: possibility of producing aggregated amorphous powder having form of anatase.
