FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing titanium dioxide films on a solid substrate involves the synthesis of a titanium dioxide film precursor by precipitation of a titanium dioxide hydrogel from an aqueous solution of titanium tetrachloride with an aqueous solution of ammonium hydroxide at a constant pH of 7. The resulting hydrogel of titanium dioxide is mixed with a solution of hydrogen peroxide at a molar ratio of H2O2:TiO2=(1.3÷1.5):1 to form a solution of peroxytitanic acid, which is then aged at 95°C for 24 hours prior to the formation of titanium dioxide hydrosol. The resulting titanium dioxide hydrosol as a film precursor is applied to a solid support, dried to form a film, and subjected to heat treatment. Then, the titanium dioxide film is subjected to magnetic treatment in a field with an amplitude of intensity H=0.10 T, frequency ω= 10-30 Hz for three minutes.
EFFECT: well-formed structure of anatase.
