FIELD: plasma physics. SUBSTANCE: method involves generation of plasmoid by initiating a spark discharge in gas under atmospheric pressure in adiabatic magnetic trap of plug type, ejection of plasmoid from magnetic trap by amplification of magnetic field in one plug of trap, direction of plasmoid to conic chamber of accelerator, where conic configuration of magnetic field is generated by pulse current running through accelerator winding. Amplified spherical plasmoid is localized by means of grounded metal shield. EFFECT: increased power of plasmoid, possibility of its thorough investigation. 2 cl, 12 dwg
