FIELD: electrical engineering; methods of production of the electrodes for the chemical sources of current.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of electrical engineering and may be used at manufacture of the chemical sources of current. The technical result of the invention is simplification of the production process. The technical result is reached by that the method of manufacture of the electrode of the chemical current source provides for the combined thermal treatment of the lithium metal sheets being in the contracted state, which are alternating with the layers of the intermetallic compound at the temperature exceeding the fusion point of lithium. The layer of the intermetallic compound is produced by mixing of the intermetallic compound particles with sizes from 40 up to 350 microns in the amount of 89-97 mass % with the asbestos in the amount of 3-11 mass %, preparation o the water suspension of the mixture with the subsequent filtration onto the flat surface and an exsiccation of the casting.
EFFECT: the invention ensures simplification of the production process.
