FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to aluminium alloys for making thin aluminium foils used in production of lithium-ion batteries and batteries based thereon. Aluminium alloy contains, wt.%: iron from 0.40 to 0.60, silicon from 0.10 to 0.20, copper from 0.05 to 0.15, zirconium from 0.05 to 0.10, scandium from 0.01 to 0.05, titanium from 0.005 to 0.02, boron from 0.0001 to 0.005, aluminium not less than 99.0, unavoidable impurities, including vanadium of not more than 0.02, — the rest. In structure of alloy there are nanodispersed precipitates with crystal lattice L12 of phases Al3Sc, Al3Zr, complex phases Al3(Sc,Zr). In the second version, the alloy additionally contains one element selected from the group: manganese not more than 0.15 and nickel not more than 0.15.

EFFECT: higher tensile strength to 265–305 MPa and elongation at break to 2–3%.
