FIELD: radio engineering, possible usage in limiting and switching devices on lines of coaxial or strip type.
SUBSTANCE: commutating device contains a length of symmetric transmission line, in the transverse cross-section plane of which metallic diaphragm is mounted. In the center of diaphragm an aperture is made, and twos slits are made symmetrically relatively to its horizontal axis. Into each slit at certain section a similar amount of p-i-n diodes is inserted.
EFFECT: decreased losses in locking mode.
