SUBSTANCE: method for performing loop tests of electric-generating channel, including positioning in reactor, consisting of separate elements, fuel cores of which are provided with gas-draining assemblies, operation of electric-generating channel at nominal heat exhaustion in fuel cores and nominal cesium steams pressure in inter-electrode gaps of electric-generating elements, measuring of temperature of fuel on the surface of central gas pore in fuel cores, measuring by means of neutron radiography method of fuel volume outside the cores, cesium steam is removed from inter-electrode gaps, reactor is additionally set to power, appropriate for thermal exhaustion in fuel cores of electric-generating elements for time τ, and measuring of fuel volume outside the cores is performed, while evaluation of serviceability of electric-generating channel is performed on basis of functioning of gas-draining assemblies.
