FIELD: hydro-acoustics, possible use for engineering powerful deep-water emitters of cylindrical construction.
SUBSTANCE: emitter contains piezo-ceramic ring, encased in the body. Body is formed by two metallic flanges in form of two rings of different diameters, connected by ring-shaped plate, and also external and internal covers, and is filled with electro-insulating material. Also, rings of flanges are positioned on different sides of aforementioned plate, while internal cover is mounted on external surface of rings of lesser diameter. Assembling of emitter includes its sealing by connecting flanges using cylinder-shaped covers and filling its internal space with electro-insulating material. One edge of internal cylinder-shaped cover is held on external surface of ring of lesser diameter of one of flanges, with tightness. Onto ring-shaped plate of this flange, piezo-ceramic ring is mounted. With tightness, second edge of this cover is attached to external surface of ring of lesser diameter of second flange. Piezo-ceramic ring is fixed relatively to flanges.
EFFECT: increased durability due to improved waterproofing.
