FIELD: hydroacoustics; low- frequency high-power electroacoustic radiators. SUBSTANCE: process includes assembly of piezoelectric ring and its mounting between two flexible coaxial cylindrical shells and butt-end annular flanges. Prior to do so flat annular flanged edges are made on one of ends of each shell; opposite end of shell is vulcanized to side cylindrical surface of respective flange. After piezoelectric ring is mounted in position flanged edges are attached to adjacent flanges. Proposed manufacturing process provides for eliminating so-called frog effect in radiator operation and for quality control at final assembly stage. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, improved radiator tightness, enhanced yield, reliability, and service life of device. 4 dwg
