FIELD: hydro-acoustics, possible use for engineering powerful low-frequency electro-acoustic cylindrical emitters.
SUBSTANCE: electro-acoustic emitter contains sectioned piezo-ceramic cylinder with elements of electric assemblage, internal and external cylinder-shaped sealing covers, end holding flanges and a layer of elastic electro-insulating material. Also, sectioned piezo-ceramic cylinder is positioned between cylinder-shaped sealing covers and end holding flanges appropriately with gaps, while gaps are made by layer of elastic electro-insulating material. Also, on the internal surface of sectioned piezo-ceramic cylinder, ring-shaped sub-layer of electro-insulating compound is positioned with dynamic coefficient of elasticity within limits 60 MPa ≤ Edyn ≤ 100 MPa, enveloping areas of positioning of aforementioned electric assemblage elements. Thickness of sub-layer of electro-insulating compound lies within h2 > h ≥ h1, where h1 - maximal length in radial direction of parts of electric assemblage elements, projecting relatively to internal surface of sectioned piezo-ceramic cylinder, h2 - distance between internal surface of cylinder-shaped sealing cover and internal surface of sectioned cylinder.
