FIELD: instrument industry.
SUBSTANCE: string accelerometer comprises cantilever, inertia mass, string, flexible pivot, and temperature control unit. The inertia mass is connected with the cantilever through the flat spring. The ends of the string are secured to the cantilever and inertia mass. The flexible pivot is mounted close to the site of connection of the spring with the cantilever. The temperature control unit is made of two L-shaped plates whose first ends are parallel and rigidly interconnected via a cross-piece. The second ends of the plates are parallel to the axis of the pivot and to the longitudinal axis of the string and are secured to the cantilever on both sides of the axis of the flexible pivot.
