FIELD: instrument industry.
SUBSTANCE: string accelerometer comprise cantilever, string tightened on the cantilever by means of a flat spring, and inertia mass. The ends of the string are secured to the additional weights. One of the weights is connected with the cantilever, and the other one is connected with the inertia mass via flat belt pivots. The axes of rotation of the belt pivots are perpendicular to the plane of oscillation of the string. Each of the additional weights is symmetrical and mounted so that one of its planes of symmetry is in coincidence with the plane of oscillation of the string. The longitudinal axis of the string is perpendicular to the planes of the belt of the pivots and passes through the centers of mass of the additional weights and the axes of flexible pivots.
EFFECT: enhanced precision.
