FIELD: plants for marking-out and centering crystals.

SUBSTANCE: proposed plant includes optical unit, lens system, contour network and crystal orientation mechanism. Proposed plant is also provided with unit for application of lines of treatment on diamond; this unit has laser set with orifice plate under which beam-splitting mirror is mounted. Lens unit has holes for passing of beam on surface of crystal and focusing objective. Lens system is located on both sides of laser beam; optical unit is mounted on one side of laser and movable contour network is mounted on other side; network is mounted on manipulator kinematically linked with another manipulator carrying the crystal orientation mechanism. Both manipulators ensure joint and separate motion of network and orientation mechanism. Network is detachable.

EFFECT: saving of raw material; monitoring of optimal sizes of crystal cutting.
