FIELD: physics; acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: double-resonant piezoceramic electroacoustic transducer comprises an active element, which is a hollow cylinder divided into segments by means of electrodes. Active element consists of a series of alternating segments made of different piezoceramic material and inducing bending and longitudinal oscillations. Longitudinal oscillations are located in distribution points along the circumference of radial component of oscillation velocity generated by bending oscillations.
EFFECT: simplified design and external commutation circuit.
