FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of acoustic measurement equipment of piezoelectric or magnetostrictive type with ring elements. Device is arranged in the form of electrodes or ring element windings divided into two or four equal parts, and connected through switchboard or directly, so that longitudinal fluctuations are excited in ring elements with set uneven distribution of amplitudes along circumference. To expand band of radiated or received frequencies during operation closely to resonance, non-excited part of each ring may be made of material without piezoelectric or magnetostrictive property.
EFFECT: provision of possibility to operate at several resonant frequencies and to increase of radiated capacity.
