FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-temperature electrochemistry, in particular, to high-temperature electrochemical devices with solid oxide electrolyte to be used as fuel cells or electrolysers, etc. Proposed device consists of cells solid electrolyte of which is made up of double-face spiral of Archimedes. Flat spirals/current taps secured on one side by electrode material are fitted into turns. Free side of said flap spirals rest on electron-conduction plate that makes, together with current leads, the gas channels. Said plate is used to connect aforesaid cells into battery.
EFFECT: simple design, lower drag, higher reliability and expanded applications.
