FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing a catheter before operation into arterial vessel feeding the tumor and, if hemorrhage develops from base of tumor after its removal, blood-substituting solutions and vasoconstrictive preparations are injected through the catheter. After visualization of the source of hemorrhage and reduction of blood loss rate, the hemorrhage is finally stopped by coagulation after which tumor ablation is completed. The catheter is withdrawn during postoperative period if there are no symptoms of recurrent hemorrhage after unassisted stool. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
