FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: product: methyl-tert-butyl ester. Synthesis is carried out by interaction of isobutylene fraction of hydrocarbon and methanol in the presence of ionite catalyst at increased temperature and pressure in reactor. Reactor involves reaction and upper and bottom rectification zones. Methanol (30-70 wt. -% ) is fed at upper rectification zone on 2-6-th plates above catalyst layer; residual methanol quantity is fed at upper of reaction zone by two flows, not less. EFFECT: improved quality of depleted hydrocarbon fraction, enhanced selectivity of process.
