FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: product: alkyl-tert.-alkyl ester is used as high-octane addition to engine fuel. Reagent 1: aliphatic alcohol. Reagent 2: isoolefin. Catalyst: ionite catalyst. Conditions: process is carried out at increased temperature and pressure in reaction-fractionating apparatus having marginal zones filled with catalyst. Parental alcohol and isoolefin and/or parental alcohol and isoolefin and/or hydrocarbon flow which is taken off from 15-60 plates of apparatus in vapor and liquid phase were fed to the every marginal zone. Distance between plates is 3-10 plates. Mixture prepared in the marginal zone is fed to the apparatus by 3-10 plates below of withdrawal point. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 1 dwg
