FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device comprises heat exchanger 1 connected by inlet pipe 3 to exhaust manifold of internal combustion engine, metering device 5 for components of processed mixture with air pipe 6, exhaust gas pipe 7 and fuel pipe 8. Metering device 5 is in communication through regulating member and mixing pipe 9 with inlet pipe of mixture circuit in heat exchanger 1. Outlet pipe of heat exchanger accommodates snugly-installed activator 12 supplied with electric power through wires 13. Having a developed heating surface, the activator may be constituted by a spiral wound around a bar, by a number of spirals coiled into Archimedean spiral of wire laid in a zigzag manner in several rows or by a volumetric porous flat or cylindrical heating element.
