FIELD: petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of conversion of hydrocarbons by a cascade oxidative cracking. Conversion is realized by a oxidative cracking at α = 0.2-0.5 cascade, by displacement of an initial processed mix of hydrocarbons flow to the located in series reaction zones and by a repeated intensification of process using additional feeding of an oxidizing agent in the reaction zone of each following cascade. The oxidizing agent is heated up to a temperature below the temperature of its inflammation. The reaction zone of the reactor is initiated by an activator. The cascade oxidative cracking is realized in the reactors with in-series located reaction zones. Reactors may have obvious (with the design members) or implicit (without the design members) separators of the reaction zones. The low-temperature (400-800 C) cascade oxidative cracking is realized without catalysts, it is cost-effective and easily controlled. The reactors may be the transportable, domestic, mobile, stationary and of different dimensions. EFFECT: the invention allows to obtain a mixture of gases of different composition at high cost-effectiveness. 2 cl, 2 tbl, 5 dwg
