FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: surface active agents, such as gallium, tin, indium, bismuth, lead, cadmium, zinc, are introduced additionally in a cobalt-base alloy in amount of 0.005-0.4 atomic percent to improve its surface state and thereby the magnetic permeability of amorphous magnetic alloys. The alloy contains (in atomic % ): Fe 2-10; Si 5-10; B 5-10; Ni and/or Cr, and/or Mo, and/or W, and/or V, and/or Nb, and/or Ta, and/or Ru, and/or Ti, and/or Zr 0.001-15; one or several components from the group of Ga, Pb, In, Bi, Sb, Cd, Zn 0.005-0.4; Co - the balance. EFFECT: improved properties of the alloy. 2 tbl
