FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic pusher has a two-step piston. At a short shift of the piston duct 7 that communicates space 4 of piston first step 3 with space 6 of piston second step 5 of the larger diameter gets open under the action of compressed air. This results in a sharp displacement of the piston and quick disengagement of a pair of parts (toothed quadrant 23 rod 24), which prevents a quick wear of teeth.
