FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: reagent 1-benzene, gross-formula is C6H6 or phenol, gross-formula is C6H6O or chlorobenzene, gross-formula is C6H5Cl, or toluene, gross-formula is C7H8. Reagent 2: nitrogen oxide (1)> Product- phenol, gross-formula is C6H6O, or catechol, gross-formula is C6H6O2, or chlorophenol, gross-formula is C6H5ClO, or cresol, gross-formula is C7H8O. Reaction conditions: temperature is 325-425 C, in the presence of pentasil of the general formula XFe2O3SiO2, where x = 0.0019- 0.017, in pure form or in the mixture with binder - aluminium or silicon oxide (concentration is 20-25 wt. -% of pentasil). Volume rate of raw feeding is 0.12-0.6 0.12-0.6 s-1, molar ratio of organic compound to nitrogen oxide is 1: (1- 19). Method is used for synthesis of semiproducts for organic synthesis.
