METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION OF BACTERIA OF GENUS BRUCELLA USING BACTERIOPHAGE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: medicinal microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing of culture suspension, its application on the solid nutrient medium together with bacteriophage, incubation of sowing following by recording of results on the basis of culture lysis with bacteriophage. Culture suspension is prepared in phosphate buffer pH 7.2-7.4 containing calcium and magnesium sulfate (concentration of each solution is 10^-2-10^-3M M). Before application on the solid nutrient medium culture suspension is mixed with bacteriophage at ratio (1: 3)-(1: 4) and incubated at 36-38 C for 20-30 min. Application on the nutrient medium is carried out by a single manner using replicating tool. EFFECT: improved method of identification. 2 tbl
