FIELD: manufacture of refining calcium additive. SUBSTANCE: refining calcium additive wire of unlimited length was manufactured by pressing blank of distilled calcium in two steps, that is, by drawing at least 7 in the first step and up to 270 in the second one. Deformation temperature was maintained in the first step within 0.3 to 0.45 and within 0.25 to 0.35 of calcium melting point in the second step. Desired product was also manufactured by deformation from cast blank under conditions involved in the similar second step processing of blanks prepared from druse. EFFECT: more advanced technique.
