FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to the secondary treatment of molten iron or steel. Wire for processing metallurgical melts contains a filler in the form of a pressed rod of unlimited length and a shell, and the bar is made of double alloys of elements, taken from the group of calcium, strontium and barium, with a mass fraction of one of the components from 0.05 to 95.0 %. Extruded bar of unlimited length is made of metal powder of an alloy with particle sizes up to 10 mm or a mixture of powder with arbitrary shaped pieces of alloy with linear particle sizes up to 50 mm, or from alloy granules.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve the homogeneity and quality of the wire using fillers that increase the boiling point of low-boiling components, as well as improve the processing efficiency of metallurgical melts.
