FIELD: medicine, particularly, traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: supporting belt consists of main body with widened spinal portion, stiffening member, pads, working members and members of adhesion at ends of main body. Stiffening member is disposed on external surface of main body. Pads are positioned on both sides of widened spinal portion. Working member is fur patch, length of nap ranging from 0.2 to 40 mm. Ratio of width of stiffening member to that spinal portion of main body is 0.625 to 0.833 and ratio of width of spinal portion to its length is 0.2 to 0.24. Pads are made of either thin leather or hygienic fabric. EFFECT: greater comfort and effectiveness. 5 cl, 2 dwg
