FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has rotating under magnetic field action press mold 1, located in vacuum chamber 10. The chamber is positioned in body 17 of a stator of an induction electric motor and air evacuated through branch pipe 11. To form a porous skeleton, made of boron carbide, slip through branch pipe 13 is fed into rotating press mold 1. Further action on borocarbide skeleton by centrifugal forces, regulated in a wide range by frequency of electric current in the stator, by heat in the body of press mold 1 and heat from heater 16 makes it possible to create an optimal porous structure of the skeleton and carry out its sintering with following molten aluminum pouring from tank 15 through membrane 14, branch pipe 13. Frequency regulation of rotating magnetic field, engaged with material of the press mold, with simultaneous decrease of power of heater 16 and constant air evacuation helps to exercise directed crystallization and to obtain defect free structure of metal-ceramic 18.
