FIELD: control methods and facilities. SUBSTANCE: in the process of regulating the ballistic parameters of the working section of flexible coupling physical and mechanical characteristics of this section are changed locally; one also changes: the cross-section profile of the working section of flexible coupling, the material of the working section of flexible coupling. The working section of flexible coupling is given the movement relative to both objects forming its margin on each of the objects. In this case when the working section of flexible coupling is taken aboard an object its margin on this object is formed by means of conversion of the flexible coupling material from solid-phase into viscous-flow state. The device is equipped at least with one means for the local change of physical and mechanical characteristics of the working section of flexible coupling interacting with means 4, 5 for forming this section and connected through information-control channels with the system of providing for the object operation. The means for the local change of physical and mechanical characteristics is made as member 9 in order to change the cross-section profile of the working section of flexible coupling located in the place of this section forming of flexible coupling margin and interacting with the system providing for the object operation through unit 6 of task and indication of parameters of the object relative movement, or through member 11 for coating the working section of flexible coupling, or through mixing-modification chamber communicated with means 4,5 for forming the working section of flexible coupling and members in order to measure out the feed to this chamber of some parts of flexible coupling margin. The means for maintaining the flexible coupling margin in the viscous-flow state is made in the form of several isolated thermal-stabilized reservoirs for storing the indicated margin parts. The reservoirs are equipped with members for their delivery out of these reservoirs. The device is equipped with located at least on one of the objects means 12 for converting the flexible coupling material from solid-phase to viscous-flow state, communicated hydraulically with the means for maintaining the flexible coupling margin in the viscous-flow state.
