FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: space objects 1 and 2 located along orbit 3 in plane of local horizon are interconnected by means of flexible structure in form of rectangular section 5 of flexible coupling between space object and parts 6 and 7 of curvilinear contour oriented in vertical plane of closed contour having this rectilinear section by its chord. Length of contour is so selected that it exceeds length of circumference plotted on this chord as on its diameter and speed is imparted to flexible coupling for motion along its contour. To create stabilizing forces applied to space objects vertically, length of parts 6 and 7 of contour is changed; part 6 is located above and part 7 is located below rectilinear section 5 of flexible coupling, total length being maintained constant. Distance between space objects is regulated through changing the length of rectilinear section 5 of flexible coupling which is taut due to dynamic reaction of contour. This contour may be used as large-size space antenna. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 7 dwg
