METHOD OF N-ALKYLATED UREAS SYNTHESIS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: products: N-alkylated ureas of formula (I) N(R₁R₂)-C(O)-NH(R₃), where R₁ and R₂ are independently each of other - H or straight or branched alkyl group; R₁ and R₂ are together with nitrogen atom form nonaromatic 5-6- membered ring; R - alkyl group, except for tert. -butyl-group. Reagent 1: compound of formula (II) (R₁R₂)N-C(O)NH, where R₁ and R₂ - as indicated above. Reagent 2: (R₃)_nX, at n = 1,2; x - haloid, sulfonoacid or hydrosulfate group at n = 1 or at n = 2 X - sulfate group. Reaction condition: process is carried out in the presence of solid base and catalyst which is able for phase transfer, such as quaternary ammonium salt, in the presence of nonpolar diluter or in the presence of solid base and dimethylsulfoxide. Synthesized compounds are used in agriculture. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis of compounds indicated above. 6 cl
