FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: silencer has cylindric case made of porous material, insert provided on a porous belt, receiving chamber positioned at the inlet to the case, and distributing grids secured in the case from the side of faces of the insert. Air enters the case made of porous material from the receiving chamber through the distributing grid. The case is provided with the insert made of porous material. Exhaust compressed air is discharged trough the second distributing grid to the atmosphere. In addition silencer has case made of porous material, insert made of porous belt received within the case and distributing grids secured within the case from the side of faces of the insert.
