FISHING TACKLE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: amateur and sports fishing. SUBSTANCE: device has body 1 with fitted in axle 2 with mounts spool 3 with front cheek 4 and rear cheek 5. Knob 11 for rotating spool 3 is secured on handle 12 which is connected with front cheek 4 or additional cheek 18 by means of spring-loaded hinge joint 13. Made in cheeks 4, 18 and spool 3 is socket 14 with through hole 15 which accommodates pusher 16. Body 1 is connected by spring-loaded hinge joint 6 with base 7 on which latch 10 is installed. Stop 9 and pusher 17 are secured on body 1. When fishing, at first body 1 is fixed by means of latch 10, and knob 11 is fixed in socket 14. Then stroke is made by fishing rod 8 and body 1 is released. Body 1 turns around spring-loaded hinge joint 6, and stop 9 orients axle 2 along fishing rod 8 after which non-inertia casting is done. When tackle hits the water, body 1 is to be returned in initial position. Pusher 17 strikes against base 7 and displaces pusher 16 which pushes knob 11 out of socket 14. Knob 11 is set in operating position under action of spring 20 of hinge joint 13. EFFECT: enhanced convenience of operation, prevention of entanglement of fishing line at casting, reduced load on hand when fighting the fish. 7 cl, 2 dwg
