FISHING TACKLE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: amateur and sports fishing. SUBSTANCE: device has body 1, axle 2 secured on body, spool 3 with front cheek 4 and rear cheek 5 fitted on axle 2, base 6 for attachment to fishing rod 7, spring-loaded hinge-joint 8 connecting body 1 with base 6 on which spring-loaded latch 10 is secured. Latch 10 is made for reciprocating under effort directed across fishing rod 7. Latch 10 can be made for reciprocating in lateral direction relative to fishing rod 7. Device has also stop 9 and seat 11. When fishing, body 1 is initially fixed by latch 10 with axle 2 oriented across fishing rod 7. Then stroke is made by fishing rod 7 and in needed point of trajectory of end of fishing rod 7 body 1 is released by means of latch 10. Under action of spring 12 body starts rotating around hinge-joint 8 and stop 9 orients axle 2 of spool 3 longitudinally relative to fishing rod 7, thus providing non-inertia casting. When tackle hits the water, body 1 is returned to initial position and bite is waited for. EFFECT: enhanced convenience, possibility of casting by one hand. 3 cl, 4 dwg
