FIELD: amateur and sports fishing. SUBSTANCE: device has body 1 with axle 2 secured on body. Fitted on axle 2 is spool 3 with front cheek 4 and rear cheek 5. Device has handle 6 installed on front cheek 4 for reciprocating in lateral direction relative to axle 2 of spool 3. Body 1 is connected to base 10 by means of spring-loaded hinge joint 9. Latch 13 is secured on base 10. Stop 12 is installed between body 1 and base 10. Moreover, fishing tackle can be made for fixing handle 6 both in its central part and on periphery of front cheek 4. When fishing, body 1 is initially fixed by latch 13, and handle 6 is locked in central part of cheek 4. Then stroke is made by fishing rod 11 and body 1 is released by latch 13. Body 1 starts rotating around spring-loaded hinge joint 9, and stop 12 orients axle 2 of spool 3 longitudinally relative to fishing rod 11. When tackle hits the water, body 1 is returned to initial position, and handle 6 is moved to edge of front cheek.
