FIELD: shaping the metals. SUBSTANCE: treatment of blank is carried out by application of axial compression force to its frontal parts and twisting by means of punches in compound container. Twisting is carried out during rotation of container parts. At treatment blank is moved along container till moment of passing the each its cross-section at least one time through joint point of container parts. In order to rich greater uniformity of deformation along blank height it is recommended to carry out moving and twisting simultaneously. Version is possible when moving the blank is carried out in turn with twisting. The greatest uniformity of blank treatment along height is received if moving and twisting are carried out simultaneously. In addition to that axial blank speed and angular speed of punch rotation are kept up constant concerning value. It is recommended to keep up identical angular speeds of punches and adjacent to them container parts. EFFECT: enhanced quality of blanks. 6 cl, 3 dwg
