FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: uninterrupted metal pouring comprises metal feed to crystallizer, pulling ingot out with variable speed, crystallizer reciprocating, metal feed to meniscus in crystallizer of slag mixture bed, flow-through water cooling crystallizer walls, cooling ingot surface placed under the crystallizer by a coolant, as well as temperature measurement of crystallizer working walls along the ingot and around its perimeter using thermal couples. In the process of uninterrupted pouring temperature measurements of crystallizer working walls are taken at two and more levels along ingot placed in the crystallizer at a distance of 0.2 - 0.3 and 0.35 - 0.5 of metal meniscus in the crystallizer and with a pitch along crystallizer perimeter equal to 0.3 to 1.2 its thickness. Water flow rate in the crystallizer is increased by 5 to 30 per cent of operating value, when low level temperature value increased up to 50 to 95 per cent of upper level temperature value at least through one pitch of temperature measurements around ingot perimeter. Water flow rate in the crystallizer is decreased down to operating value, when low level temperature value decreased down to 6 to 49 per cent of upper level value. EFFECT: increased productivity in metal pouring. 1 tbl
