FIELD: metal-working. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes heating hot-rolled electric steel strips to temperature Th to be selected depending on carbon content, allowing them to stand and then to cool in two steps, first, from preset temperature Th to accelerated cooling temperature Th-(150-200°) - (150 to 200 C). Note that cooling time at first stage depends on temperature 80-120 C/c and rate of cooling at second stage ranges from 80 to 120 C/s. EFFECT: thus processed steel is characterized by extremely great values of B100 and low level of P1,7.
