DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURE OF SPONGE IRON, CEMENT HARD-BURNT BRICK AND ELECTRIC ENERGY Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: device has gas generator with unit for charging of solid fuel, supply O2 = of contenting gas and discharge of reducing gas, cyclone provided with unit for outlet of ash and non-burnt fuel installed on line for outlet of reducing gas from gas generator, gas preheater, device for manufacture of sponge iron with means for supply of crushed iron-ore material, reducing gas and with means for outlet of sponge iron and used gas. The device is provided with furnace for manufacture of cement hard-burnt brick with units for charging of solid fuel and limestone and discharge of cement hard-burnt brick, supply O2 = of contenting gas, outlet of used gas and combined device for generation of electric energy including turbine, compressor and generator of electric energy mounted on one shaft. In furnace for manufacture of cement hard-burnt brick whose supply unit is coupled with the unit of ash outlet and non-burnt fuel of cyclone, coil is located one end of which is coupled with the turbine and other one - with compressor. The turbine is coupled with supplies O2 = of contenting gas of gas generator and furnace for manufacture of cement hard-burnt brick. Device is provided with electric filter for refinement of reducing gas from dust by means of electromagnets by which the device for manufacture of sponge iron is provided, made in the form of cone reactor located in two decks between which the by casing covered gills are positioned. The preheater is mounted on line for outlet of reducing gas. Besides, the device is provided with electric vibrators and splitters for smooth sinking the sponge iron out of cone reactors. In addition to that the electric vibrators are mounted at sides of means for supply of crushed iron-ore material and the splitters - in the middle of means for outlet of sponge iron.
