FIELD: catalytic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: catalytic member presents a package of platinum-rhodium wire nets with partial or full separation of nets by spacers gas-permeable, heat-resistant and inert to conversion process and made of material based on oxides of aluminium and/or silicon. Each spacer has thickness exceeding the net wire diameter by 4-100 times. Spacers and nets are intimately adjacent to each other. This results in reduction of platinoids by 3.4-10.7 times as compared with the use of known catalytic member. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 tbl
