FIELD: active media of low-threshold optically pumped solid lasers. SUBSTANCE: the composition comprises (wt %): 6.3-6.32 K2O; 20.48-20.57 BaO; 14.33-15.14 Y2O3; 0.02-1.22 Nd2O3 and MoO3, the balance. The bland composed of said oxides is homogenized and annealed in two stages: at 550-570 C for 35-40 hr and at 720-750 C for 70-80 hr. The luminescence intensity of the resulting material is by 1.23-1.56 times greater than this value Y3·Al5·O12:Nd3+ for the basic luminescent solid. EFFECT: improved quality. 2 dwg
